Non Representational Drawing- Radial Perspective Design

Students will create a second non representational drawing using only line, form, and perspective! A radial composition means that everything in the piece radiates out from a single central point creating a balanced composititon!

Materials: paper, pencil, ruler

On your paper add a single vanishing point right in the middle of the page, then lightly draw as many squares and rectangles as you can fit on your paper. Like the image above, some of your objects will overlap others.

So all your lines, shapes, values, textures- they all must be balanced radially by having the same visual weight left and right, top and bottom.
